“Urban Alphabet” will be included in the art exhibit “It’s All About the Buildings”, a photo collage showing “found” letters of the alphabet around the beautiful city of Bellingham, WA.
WomanKraft is a Non-Profit Arts Organization , founded in 1974, “to claim, validate, and empower women artists and other under-represented groups”. Membership is open to all. (Even men can participate!) Participation in shows and other activities is not limited to members and most are open to the general public.
“The Castle,” an old Victorian house sitting on a shaded lot at 388 South Stone Avenue, Tucson, is home to the WomanKraft Center for Art, Education, and Culture Revealed. The house, built in 1918, was purchased by WomanKraft in 1992 to house an art gallery, a School of the Arts, an all-natural beauty salon, a Digital Arts Studio, and “The Healing Cave.”
